We are currently open for collection and delivery during our usual operating hours

We along with many other businesses are treating the COVID-19 outbreak seriously.  Current food hygiene standards in Australia are more than enough to meet the Govenment's minimum standards for personal hygiene to combat the spread of the virus and so we have not had to adapt our procedures very much.  Using Hand-sanitiser and the sanitisation of equipment and surfaces has always been routine here. 

Our key suppliers and the building in which we work have all added additional precautions around deliveries and personal contact.   We still allow cake collections (including bringing the cake to your car) and deliveries are also available (no contact is possible if requested).

Our main concern as a business, beyond hygiene, is our ability to maintain the supplies that we need to operate to our full capacity.  Where we have known supply issues we have removed those items from our online store.  There is always the potential that an item may suddenly not be available or bespoke items not sourcable in the time-frame we have e.g. personalised toppers.  Should this be the case we will contact you within 24 hours of you ordering online to offer you an alternative approach or a refund if necessary.  Alternatively please give us a call on 02 8006 0089 prior to placing an order and we will be happy to discuss things with you.

This statement was last updated on Monday 17th August 2020 and reflects the Governments' (both State & Federal) policy on contact and movement at that time.  We will aim to update this as quickly as we can should things change.

Whilst NSW remains open in the main there is the risk that events may change that situation.  As the threat of COVID-19 restrictions is known our policy on last minute cancellations is a follows;

1)  Cancellations with at least 14 complete working days notice (Mon - Fri) due to a change in restrictions on the movement or number of people allowed to gather as a result of State or Federal direction will be entitled to a 95% credit.

2)  Cancellations with less than 6 full working days notice will not be entitled to a refund or credit. 

COVID Policy on collections / deliveries

We email all customers in advance of both collections and deliveries and these emails will be a further reminder of our policies. 

The building in which we operate has a COVID Safe policy.  We therefore request, as is generally accepted, that you do not visit us should you have symptoms of COVID-19 or have isolation requirements as set out by NSW Health.  We are more than happy for an alternative to the customer to collect your order on your behalf but we will require a record of their name and contact details as required by NSW Health.  Contactless collection is possible and the details will be arranged on request. 

Deliveries are subject to additional charge.  Our delivery partner has a COVID safe policy in place and contactless deliveries are available on request.

Contact details of customers or their alternatives will be provided to NSW Health on request (as required by law as part of their contract tracing efforts only).
